My favorite movie of last year was Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain, starring Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz. Babel was a close second.

I agree The Prestige is a very good film and I most certainly agree with your number one film on yout list. I am still waiting to see The Fountain.
Unfortunately I could not get to grips with Borat at all - but I have enjoyed the films I have seen in addition to all so far of Hugh Jackman an actor I will always watch - he never disappints with his performances
